Day One Post-Surgery
Thank you everyone for your continued thoughts and prayers. The response from this site and all of Trent's family and friends has been astounding, and the love and support that his family has received has truly been a blessing. Trent had a long night after his surgery, as expected. He has a spot of pneumonia on one lung, which was caught & treated immediately. His doctors tell us this is a normal occurrence after an intubation, and nothing to be worried about. Trent had a huge positive today in two very special visitors...his pastor and cross country coach. What a HUGE difference their presence made! Trent immediately lit up & his entire demeanor changed, proving that love and laughter truly is the best medicine. More updates to come as Trent continues on his road to recovery, love and thanks to you all.

ReplyDeleteJust wanted you to know that if you need absolutely anything that Monica is not very far from the hospital and she said she would bring you anything you would like on her way to work or just because. I would be glad to give you her number so you can contact her or at least have it in case you would like to contact her. Call me anytime 973-0210.
Tell Trent to keep on running thru this difficult time he will come out ahead.

Trent, We miss your smiling, sometimes complaining or making wise cracks about something face around here. We are missing you while thinking and praying for you even through all the wedding stuff. We know you are a strong willed young man and with God's help you will get through this. And that message is for Mom and Dad too. God Will see you through this.
